Porsche 911 964 Speedster 1992-1993 (MY1993-MY1994) 964 Speedster was introduced in October 1992 as a 1993 model. About 1000 cars were produced in 2 years, incl. 15-20 ultra rare widebody Speedsters built by Porsche Exclusive. When 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet costed 76.000 dollars in USA, Speedster costed just 66.000 dollars. Just like on the old days when stripped out 356 Speedster was much cheaper than a 356 Convertible with the same engine. The 964 Speedster series were finished with a one-off Slate Gray RHD Speedster "WERK1". It was built at Porsche Exclusive in 1994 at the time, when the factory was already busy producing 993's. Wheels in body colour were not very popular With many 964 Speedsters, the seat backsides, instrument surround, gear lever, door straps and seatbelts were in the matching colour to exterior.
